84.4% of Carroll County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 49,961 citizens living in Carroll County in 2021, 84.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 42,143 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 20,971 were male, constituting 49.8%, and 21,172 were female, making up 50.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Carroll County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 81%.
