According to the latest figures, tuition at Colby-Sawyer College rose by 2% for the 2022-23 academic year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students paid $47,164 to attend the four-year private nonprofit institution this year, an increase of $910 from the $46,254 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 44% of the undergraduate student body at the college are residents of New Hampshire, while around 48% come from other states.

Data indicates that all full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Colby-Sawyer College in the 2022-23 school year received some form of financial aid. A total of 183 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $7.2 million, and 147 students took out loans exceeding $1.4 million.

Overall, 777 undergraduate students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $28.2 million. Additionally, 594 students secured federal student loans totaling $4 million.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
