Mike Belcher has recently posted a series of tweets on August 16, 2025, addressing his observations about certain theological debates and online discourse. In these posts, Belcher discusses how some individuals approach dialectics in religious conversations.
In his first tweet at 13:03 UTC, Belcher stated, “This is how Dispys run dialectics – erasing nuance and purposely obfuscating their genuine Christian theological opposition (Covenant Theology) as mere awful antisemites (a real and sinful disposition unrelated to Covenent Theology). Its a terrible bargain they make driving real https://t.co/O2Mh9N7bJp”.
At 13:38 UTC the same day, he continued his critique by noting patterns in behavior: “It’s not a one-off, either. I’ve been watching him for some time. He doesn’t just speak simple truths – his posts are dialectical, and operate on conflict theory. In the below, the obvious answer is that it is, in fact, occult. See the next tweet to understand that even he knows”.
Belcher concluded this sequence at 13:39 UTC with another post: “And, here it is, he knew what he was saying was deeply wrong but he doesn’t care because there’s an operation to drive socially.”
Belcher’s comments reference ongoing debates within Christian theology between Dispensationalism (“Dispys”) and Covenant Theology. These two schools of thought differ significantly on biblical interpretation and eschatology. The distinction between criticism of theological positions and accusations of antisemitism has been an ongoing topic among theologians and commentators.
