Mike Belcher, a political figure and legislator, posted a series of statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account addressing changes to the platform, criticism of the GOP, and legislative efforts in New Hampshire.
On December 14, 2025, Belcher commented on recent changes to X’s timeline curation. He wrote, “This atrocious timeline curation change is going to crush smaller accounts – nobody is going to see what you’re saying. X is becoming the abyss. How long will people just scream into it?”
Later that day, on December 15, 2025, Belcher criticized his own party’s effectiveness and referenced redistricting in Indiana as an example. He stated, “Much, if not most, of the GOP is not fit for purpose. See Indiana on redistricting for an example.
Making the party fit for purpose is going to require pruning branches.”
In another post on December 15, 2025, Belcher highlighted his legislative work in New Hampshire regarding firearms policy. He wrote, “I’m happy to have once again written and sponsored legislation to significantly increase firearms freedoms in NH.”
Belcher has previously been involved in state-level legislative initiatives focused on expanding gun rights and has maintained an active presence commenting on both national party politics and social media trends.
