Mike Belcher shares experiences with hospital and pediatric care
Mike Belcher, a social media user, posted a series of tweets on September 1, 2025, describing his experiences related to vaccination decisions for his daughter and the subsequent interactions with medical professionals.
In one tweet from September 1, 2025, Belcher recounted an incident at the hospital: “Seriously, when they still hadn’t ‘convinced’ us (through psychopathic emotional manipulation) to vaccinate by discharge day they actually tried to refuse to let us leave the hospital – they demanded to at least have a new, negative maternal test result before we left.”
Belcher also described challenges encountered immediately after his daughter’s birth. In another post on the same day, he wrote: “Dealing with this with my daughter now. From birth (and the delivery team and nurses were great) the hospital pediatricians, upon learning were refusing Hep-B, we’re like dealing with this guy.”
Additionally, Belcher discussed difficulties in finding supportive pediatric care. He stated: “Then, finding a pediatrician who wouldn’t either give you the third degree or flat out boot you from their practice for refusing even a single recommended vaccine was very difficult.”
Hospitals often require certain vaccinations or screenings before discharge for newborns and mothers as part of public health protocols designed to prevent disease transmission. Pediatricians may follow guidelines from organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics regarding vaccine recommendations for children.
