Mike Belcher has recently shared a series of posts on X addressing topics ranging from justice and national policy to immigration. The posts, published between October 9 and October 12, 2025, present his views on the interconnectedness of justice, the challenges of immigration adjudication, and the relationship between faith and national law.

On October 9, Belcher commented on the broader implications of injustice in society. He wrote: “There’s actually a significant amount of truth in the phrase ‘injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.’ That’s why they work so hard to make sure even the most obviously criminal are protected: they have a personal interest in justice being nowhere.”

In another post dated October 11, Belcher addressed concerns regarding immigration and its impact on the judicial system. He stated: “Even if one were sympathetic, the simple fact is that the resources of adjudication necessary to ‘have a heart’ after flooding tens of millions into America is so unfathomably impossible it would mean tens-of-thousands of murderers and rapists and enemies get delayed deportation”.

Belcher also discussed religious themes in relation to national governance on October 12. In this post he reflected: “King of kings, Lord of lords. Pondering what it means that ‘blessed is the nation who’s God is Yahweh.’ Individuals have faith, but nations have policy and law. ‘If you love Me you will keep my Law’ isn’t a private matter – it’s also a national one.”

The phrase “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” referenced by Belcher in his first tweet, originates from Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” This concept has been widely cited as an argument for addressing injustices globally due to their potential ripple effects.

Belcher’s comments regarding immigration echo ongoing debates about U.S. border policy and resource allocation within the legal system. Discussions continue at both state and federal levels over how best to manage high numbers of migrants while ensuring public safety and due process.

His reflections on faith and governance touch upon historical debates concerning the separation of church and state in American political tradition—a topic that remains relevant as policymakers navigate questions surrounding religion’s role in shaping legislation.
