Mike Belcher, a social media commentator, shared several posts on December 1 and 2, 2025, discussing the morality of targeting terrorists and referencing recent political movements.

In a post dated December 1, Belcher stated: “Killing terrorists and enemy who target civilians is good. Participating in information warfare to advance a color revolution in service to international Communism is evil.” He drew a distinction between acts of violence against those who target civilians and involvement in broader ideological conflicts.

On December 2, Belcher expanded on his position regarding combatants. He wrote: “Killing terrorists goes beyond simple defensive combat. It overlaps with the realm of capital punishment. These rules can be applied to uniformed combatants because they are out of the fight. Terrorists are never out of the fight, because their targets are civilians.”

Later that day, Belcher referenced past activism by another figure without naming them directly: “This is the same guy who promoted Antifa a few years back signalling he had their back.”

The term “color revolution,” mentioned by Belcher in his December 1 post, refers to popular protest movements that have occurred primarily in former Soviet states and other countries since the early 2000s. These movements often advocate for democratic reforms or changes in government leadership and have been characterized by mass mobilizations using nonviolent resistance strategies. The phrase has sometimes been used pejoratively by critics who allege foreign influence or interference behind such uprisings.

Antifa, referenced in Belcher’s December 2 post, is a loosely organized anti-fascist movement active mainly in North America and Europe. Members typically oppose far-right groups through both protest activities and direct confrontation.
