Mike Belcher, a commentator and writer, reported on his experience attending a “No Kings” event through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in October 2025. In his tweets, Belcher described the rhetoric and atmosphere at the event, expressing concern over what he characterized as violent language and imagery.

On October 18, 2025, Belcher wrote: “Attended a No Kings event to observe today. Full write-up later, but the absolute insanely violent rhetoric, imagery (many exhibits of murdering Republicans), and disparagement of Charlie Kirk as getting what was coming was disgusting.”

The following day, he expanded on his observations: “No Kings: Radio Rwanda for Liberals My writeup on what I experienced observing a ‘No Kings’ rally put on by Leftists and Communists. https://t.co/2R42oATQof https://t.co/ZrVsd7yQpF https://t.co/ERTW9fx5th”

In another post made shortly after, Belcher quoted from his write-up: ‘”…branding Charlie Kirk a “hateful bigot” who clearly got what was coming to him for listing progressive professors, allegedly sparking “death threats,” and clearly making the Communist Left the “real victims,” they gave their audience permission to go on offense.”‘

“No Kings” is an activist group known for its opposition to conservative figures and organizations. The reference to “Radio Rwanda” alludes to inflammatory radio broadcasts during the Rwandan genocide that incited violence—a comparison that signals Belcher’s concerns about the tone of discourse at the event.

Charlie Kirk is a conservative commentator and founder of Turning Point USA. He has been a frequent target of criticism from left-leaning groups due to his activism and public statements.

Belcher’s posts contribute to ongoing debates about political rhetoric in American activism spaces and how language can influence public perception and behavior.
