On Monday, Feb. 17, former Winnisquam Regional High School standout Marcus Korenkiewicz’s current college team, the Lynn Fighting Knights, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.

The game took place at Hurricane Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hurricanes this season.

The Fighting Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at UT Baseball Field against Tampa Spartans.
