Rep. James Thibault, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted several messages on his social media account in mid-September 2025 addressing recent national events and offering personal acknowledgments.
On September 12, 2025, Thibault expressed appreciation for state leadership by posting: “Something we should all keep in mind from time to time. Thank you, @GovCox for your leadership.”
Shortly after, on the same day, he commented on recent tragedies affecting the nation and urged continued attention to victims of violence. He wrote: “In the wake of all of the tragedy our nation has endured this week, let us not allow others to be swept out of the news cycle. Continue to pray for Sophia and all victims of anti-religious and political violence in our country.”
Two days later, on September 14, Thibault posted a birthday message directed at the Holy Father: “Happy birthday, Holy Father!”
Thibault’s posts reflect ongoing concerns about political and religious violence in the United States as well as acknowledgment of both local leaders and global religious figures.
