Rep. James Thibault, a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, posted a series of statements on his social media account on August 28, 2025, in response to an act of violence. In these posts, he addressed the incident and called for prayers for the victims.
In his first message at 13:37 UTC, Thibault wrote, “Pray for the victims of this disgusting act of violence https://t.co/uDxYixdYui”.
Shortly after, at 13:38 UTC, he commented on the nature of the incident by stating, “And they say it’s not a mental health issue… Keep your kids FAR AWAY from this filth https://t.co/JdE0C4LkEA”.
Later that afternoon at 14:02 UTC, Thibault again urged support for those affected and expressed appreciation for the community by posting, “What a beautiful community. Please continue praying for the victims https://t.co/lLMr1PrVMR”.
Thibault is serving as a representative in New Hampshire’s legislative body as of 2025.
