Rep. James Thibault, a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, has recently shared several statements on social media addressing youth political engagement and education policy.
On August 11, 2025, Thibault commented on generational political shifts by stating, “The Left doesn’t understand that THIS is why young people are shifting right. Notice most of the young people who step up and run for office are conservative… https://t.co/FP6RPqeRFE”.
Continuing his commentary early the next morning, Thibault posted a brief statement referencing Texas: “Based Texas https://t.co/q538gx9RTJ” on August 12, 2025.
Shortly after, he expressed criticism toward teachers unions and their influence in education: “Not even hiding the propaganda anymore. Abolish the teachers unions. https://t.co/io5nWDAfYU”.
Thibault’s remarks come amid ongoing national debates about the role of teachers unions in public education and increased polarization over curriculum content in schools. Teachers unions have frequently been at the center of discussions regarding educational reform and labor rights in the United States.
