Heidke Caregiver Position
The Town of Alton is seeking an interested person to assist elderly residents with daily tasks such as meals, light housekeeping, laundry, run small errands and general companionship within the client’s home. Other duties may include but are not limited to providing the necessary social interaction such as playing games, reading and encouraging development of skills. The Caregiver is responsible for attending to the needs of the individual assigned client(s). Responsibilities can be diverse and encompass many aspects of care. Hours vary and are limited to 10 hours per week for each client depending on his or her needs. This is a paid volunteer position funded through a Trust Fund and is not a Town of Alton employment position; it does not include any benefits. Rate of pay is $12.77 per hour.
