16.5% of households in Ashland received food stamps in 2020

Ashland ranked 17th in New Hampshire for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 109 Ashland households (16.5 percent) who received food stamps. Ashland's population was 1,630 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Mountain Lakes, which had 68 of 242 households receiving food stamps, 11.6 percent more than Ashland. In 2020 the population of Mountain Lakes was 643.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Durham, which had eight of 1,605 households receiving food stamps, 16 percent less than Ashland. In 2020 the population of Durham was 12,016.
