It is with great sadness that the Town of Barnstead announces the passing of former Fire Chief and current Deputy Chief Shawn Mulcahy on July 09, 2022. Shawn has dedicated over 45 years in service to the community. Shawn was instrumental in maintaining and upgrading the town’s apparatus and was heavily involved in merging 2 private fire departments and a private rescue company into one municipal agency.
