Barnstead Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.
On Saturday, August 14, 2021 between 3-7 pm the Barnstead Police Department will be handing out free ice cream to children throughout the community. Barnstead Police will be driving the ice cream truck that will have a police escort.
The ice cream truck will be making stops in different neighborhoods throughout Barnstead and broadcasting their location through their department FB Live. The department’s mascot “CHASE” from PAW Patrol will be joining the officers and parents will have the opportunity to take photos of them with CHASE, the Police Chief, Captain and all of the other Barnstead Police Officers.
This is another BPD Community outreach initiative, bringing Cops & Kids together.
